I bathe in your luminous light
Sitting high as you light the night that has fallen around every side of the earth that you touch
I envy how you shine weather you're appreciated, praised or admired
I bathe in your luminous light letting my mind drift away as I melt Into you
It seems you sit so close, but yet you're so far
Even though you sit so high you do not sit alone, you're surrounded by stars of forever
A forever that your simple being contributes to by you just being you
I see you and I bathe in your luminous light
A light that many no longer find appreciation for
A light that guided many to freedom in the pitch dark when nothing was more precious than life
